Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. Six data points power the quotes: your gender, birth date, self-assessed health, tobacco status, desired death benefit, and policy term. No name, address, or detailed medical history is needed to retrieve rates from carriers. Such information is only requested if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
What you see are quotes issued by carriers for the health tier you selected. Your final cost depends on underwriting, which may confirm, raise, or lower your class. These figures are informational only—not an insurance contract, price guarantee, or approval commitment.
What happens when I click Apply?
After selecting a quote, you supply your name and move into a secure application on the carriers' platform, pre-filled with your answers. You can halt and come back later; all signature is digital. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
That hinges on the carrier, amount you're seeking, and your particulars. Some carriers can underwrite and approve within hours for qualifying applicants without an exam. Your quote will specify: exam required, exam possible, or exam not needed.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term that aligns with your family's needs. Coverage should protect against the income loss that would hurt most—a mortgage, dependent children, a business obligation. Longer terms mean pricier monthly payments but a locked rate. Use our tool to see how 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options compare.
Does this site sell my information?
Absolutely not. The quoting tool collects no contact information, we neither vend nor disclose your data, and our analytics use no cookies. Head to our privacy statement for the full accounting of what we gather and who accesses it.
